In addition to our Rum Program, we are now able to offer Advanced Finished Rums which are comparable to traditional barrel aged rums in both flavor profile, quality, and taste. The advantage of using this option would be consistency in supply and no lead time while remaining very economical.
Ultra Pure now offers four different Advanced Finished Rums, all with origins in the USVI.
Advanced Finished Rum I
USVI based. This Advanced Finished Rum has a dark amber color with initial aromas of pear, brown sugar, and sweet butter. At 150 Proof, this Advanced Finished Rum has slight notes of passionfruit and guava in the midrange. You will recognize the ample amounts of almond and toasted oak in this full bodied Advanced Finished Rum I.
Advanced Finished Rum II
USVI based. This Advanced Finished Rum has a medium gold color with aromas of cane sugar and hay. At 150 Proof, this Advanced Finished Rum has mid-range flavors lead by molasses and baking spice. Heavier notes of charred oak and vanilla round out the finish.
Advanced Finished Rum III
USVI based. This Advanced Finished Rum has a light rose-gold color with top-note aromas of pineapple and orange. At 150 Proof, this Advanced Finished Rum has flavor notes of Caribbean fruits including banana and mango. You will note that this Advanced Finished Rum finishes with a toffee, coconut, and a hint of lime.
Advanced Finished Rum IV
USVI based. This Advanced Finished Rum has a medium amber color, with initial aromas of red wine and leather. At 150 Proof, this Advanced Finished Rum has flavor notes of toasted almond, port, and tobacco smoke. You will note that this Advanced Finished Rum finishes with hints of crème Brule and a touch of coriander.
These Advanced Finished Rum options at all distilled at 150 Proof and available in 55-gallon and 270-gallon containers.
